Walchem Intuition-6™ Cooling Tower Controller with Ethernet and Analog Output, WCT6A00PANAE-PANNN
Description
- Low-cost bleed and feed conductivity control—inhibit corrosion and scaling
- User-friendly touchscreen display and internal datalogging with on-screen graphing
- Ethernet option allows remote viewing and setup through any browser, even on your cell phone!
Automatically maintain conductivity levels in cooling tower applications. These versatile controllers feature an icon-based touchscreen format for quick and easy setup. No need for manual switch operation—just program your controller to one of the 18 available methods, such as: simultaneous feed and bleed, feed after bleed has finished (lockout), feed as a percentage of time elapsed, or feed as a percentage of make-up water. You can also program these units for time- or conductivity-based pre-bleed prior to biocide addition, and time-based lockout of the bleed after the biocide addition.
Each controller features six relays for on/off setpoint control, time-proportional control, alarm, in- or out-of-range activation, timer activation based on water contactor or paddlewheel flowmeter input, timer, boiler blowdown on conductivity using intermittent sampling, and more. All relays have 120-VAC female pigtail connectors for direct connection to metering pump power cords. Hand-off-auto (HOA) control panel allows instantaneous switching to manual process control.
Six integral digital inputs accept level switch, flowmeter, flow switch or generic interlock operation. On-board flow totalizer records the volume of make-up water if the feed is based on a water meter/contactor signal. Controllers datalog sensor values and relay activations. USB port allows data retrieval using a USB flash drive (sold separately).
Analog 4-20 mA outputs allow interfacing with other equipment and larger control systems. Ethernet connectivity provides easier system configuration, and simple integration into your Local Area Network (LAN) or internet-based remote monitoring setup. Use the Ethernet option to check alarm and sensor statuses, or setup and change controller parameters from anywhere. Data is accessible through any web browser using the controller’s IP address.
Includes: controller, flow switch and in-line graphite conductivity sensor with 5-foot long cable, all mounted with manifold to a back panel for easy wall-mount installation.
Note: Additional options are available as special order, including dual-input controllers, and models with different output configurations. Contact USABlueBook for more information.
