These heavy-duty bomb samplers collect liquid samples at specific depths of storage tanks, lakes, ponds, manholes, wells and other hard-to-reach places. A Viton O-ring on the plunger keeps liquid sample sealed securely inside.
To retrieve samples from the bottom of your liquid vessel, the sampler requires one line (order suspension cable separately, stock # 16407). The sampling chamber fills when the bottom plunger contacts any hard surface and pushes up into the sampler—simply pull up the line to retrieve the samples. To collect a sample from a specific depth, the sampler requires a second line to lift the plunger at the required depth.
