Use this rugged, economical hoist for lifting, lowering and positioning personnel and materials. The MSA hoist features all-steel construction with an internal shock absorber that operates even when the entire 65' of galvanized cable is extracted. Maximum workload is 400 lbs for personnel and 620 lbs for materials.
The crank handle has a 5:1 gear ratio and a lifting/lowering speed of 25 feet per minute. Includes an integral bracket for side mounting on the MSA tripod (stock # 16923; sold separately). Meets all applicable ANSI standards and OSHA regulations.
This unit can be used as the primary entry/exit system in a ladderless confined space application when mounted on a MSA tripod. You will also need to have a secondary system available to meet OSHA requirements. We recommend the MSA confined space kit (stock # 97129; sold separately), which includes a MSA tripod.
