Rosemount Model 56 Contacting Conductivity Controller 1 Channel
Description
- Available with single or dual sensor inputs that use either contacting or inductive (toroidal) sensors
- Backlit high-resolution color screen is easy to see indoors and out
- Intuitive help screens provide instruction and troubleshooting tips
These advanced conductivity analyzers feature sophisticated capabilities, but are simple to set up and use. Choose from models with single or dual inputs that use either contacting or toroidal sensors. The four actively powered, isolated 0/4-20 mA analog outputs are fully scaleable and programmable. Configure each of the four SPDT relays to actuate based on conductivity, temperature or time, or use as a fault alarm to signal system failures. Timer functions let you program output using time-proportional control or special application timers like bleed and feed, day/time interval timers or delay timers. There's no need for dedicated timer control devices or DCS programming.
Get up and running quickly and easily. Slide-in measurement boards provide easy sensor wiring. At initial setup, simplified Quick-Start programming screens appear, so you can quickly configure each sensor loop for immediate live readings. The alphanumeric keypad and intuitive screens make programming easy to understand. Press the INFO key to access a complete user guide with troubleshooting tips. Customize the backlit color screen to display just the information you want to see. View programming menus, calibration routines, faults and warnings in your choice of 9 languages. Two security levels allow access to general maintenance only or access to all functions.
Advanced data management. Never wonder when your last calibration or alarm event was. This analyzer stores up to 300 significant events, including start-up time, configurations, alarms, power interruptions, calibrations, hold outputs, faults and more. Extensive data storage captures measurements from each channel, including temperature every 30 seconds for up to 30 days. View the data graphically on the screen to pinpoint process disruptions or measurement problems. Zoom in on a specific time for a detailed on-screen evaluation. Transfer all event and process data to an EXCEL spreadsheet using a USB memory device. HART® digital communications are superimposed on the first channel.
Profibus DP digital communications protocols are available as a special order. Contact USABlueBook for more information.
Use contacting sensors for low-end conductivity measurements down to 1µS. These screw-in conductivity sensors have titanium palladium electrodes and a 3/4" NPT(M) stainless steel process connection. Order removable cable separately below.
Since the electrodes are not exposed to the system, inductive (toroidal) sensors are ideal for applications where contacting sensors corrode or become fouled. Their low-maintenance design eliminates sensor polarization and coating. Sensors have a 3/4" NPT(M) top connection for immersion or insertion, and feature a huge measuring range of 250 to 2,000,000 µS. Sensor include a 20-ft attached cable.
