Rosemount 1056 Contacting Conductivity Controller, Dual
Description
- Available with single or dual sensor inputs with choice of inductive (toroidal) or contacting sensors
- Measurement units for conductivity, TDS, salinity, resistivity, or % concentration
- Intuitive menus with screen prompts make programming simple
These versatile controllers let you pick the features required for your application. We offer models with single or dual sensor inputs that use either inductive (toroidal) or contacting conductivity sensors. All controllers have four alarm relays and two 4-20 mA outputs that you independently program to correspond to conductivity or temperature measurements. You can program dual input models to provide differential measurements of ratio, percent passage or percent rejection.
Quick-start programming screens appear the first time the controller is powered, so you can be up and running right away. Plain-language prompts and help screens guide you through all set-up and calibration procedures. Program the controller in seven different languages, including English, Spanish, and French.
These controllers offer two security levels: one for routine calibration and “hold of current” outputs, and the other for menus and other functions. The controller continuously monitors itself and the sensor(s) for any problems—the display flashes Fault and/or Warning if a problem occurs. Press the Diagnostic button for information on the condition, and Help screens appear to quickly guide you through troubleshooting.
Since the electrodes are not exposed to the system, inductive (toroidal) sensors are ideal for applications where contacting sensors corrode or become fouled. Their low-maintenance design eliminates sensor polarization and coating. Sensors have a 3/4" NPT(M) top connection for immersion or insertion, and feature a huge measuring range of 250 to 2,000,000 µS. Each includes a 20-ft attached cable.Use contacting sensors for low-end conductivity measurements down to 1 µS. These screw-in conductivity sensors have titanium palladium electrodes and a 3/4" NPT(M) stainless steel process connection. Order removable cable separately. Note: Order controller and sensors separately.
