PlantPRO Bugs for Sludge tablets contain a special blend of bugs (bacteria) and biostimulants to enhance bacterial growth and digest difficult forms of BOD. Unlike other sludge treatment methods, Bugs for Sludge tablets don’t release a lot of nutrients into the water. As the bugs degrade difficult BOD into smaller molecules, they stimulate additional bacteria growth and uptake of ammonia and phosphate for reduced nutrient effluent levels.

Tablets can be applied in specific areas where sludge accumulation is greatest. The ingredients stay in the sludge and don’t drift through the water, making them extremely efficient. Works best in water that is at least 55°F (12.8°C).
