The GX-3R Pro is the smallest 5-channel gas detector available, fitting in the palm of your hand. At only 4.58 ounces, it's great for clipping to your collar or lapel to detect dangerous gases in the ten inch radius around your nose and mouth, designated by OSHA as the breathing zone.

In addition to monitoring standard confined space gases, the GX-3R Pro has a fifth channel to monitor CO2 or other gases. Two of the sensor channels accept interchangeable sensors, providing flexible configurations. Sensors are easily changed in the field. Built for rigorous conditions, the GX-3R Pro gas detector features an impact-resistant IP66/68-rated case with removable rubber boot that withstands drops over 23 feet.

The backlit LCD shows real-time gas concentrations along with intuitive health check, sensor status, bump reminder, battery life and other helpful icons. Each channel features three adjustable alarm setpoints that are customizable to each different gas. Use to trigger an "early warning" alarm or wherever you have unique concerns. The standard triple alarm system activates beeping, flashing and vibrating alarms in the event of low, high, TWA, STEL or O2 conditions. Three LEDs flash every 30 seconds to alert you when bump testing or calibration are overdue, or when a gas alarm event has occurred. The lights continue to flash until noncompliance conditions have been resolved. For added safety, the unit also features panic and man-down alarms.

The GX-3R Pro features powerful communication and datalogging options. Bluetooth capabilities let you send real-time GPS location, alarm information and gas detector readings to your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone (requires free RK Link app, available for iOS or Android). The app also allows you to adjust detector settings, view calibration/bump details, and set up text or email notifications for alarm events.

The GX-3R Pro detector logs user ID, station ID, calibration and bump test history, alarm events, and alarm interval trends. Use the IR communications port to transfer logged data to a Windows-based PC for analysis and reporting (requires Data Logger Management software; available free at rkiinstruments.com). To automate calibration and logging, use the optional SDM-3R docking station for 5-gas configurations (stock # 332590; sold separately).
