Description

Product Details
  • Reduces solids to protect downstream equipment
  • Ideal for placing in the suction line of sludge pumps

Use N.Mac twin-shaft grinders to protect pumps and other downstream equipment. The grinders reduce incoming solids to a pumpable size to prevent pipe blockages, equipment damage and unexpected downtime.

They feature cartridge-style cutters that spread shock loading across the entire cartridge, not just one blade. Cartridges are prestacked for easy servicing and maintenance. Grinders feature seven teeth per cartridge—ideal for municipal wastewater applications.

Grinders feature a cast-iron housing with hardened 4140 alloy steel shafts. Cutters are hardened 4140 alloy steel. Mechanical seal is tungsten carbide/silicon carbide.

Many other options are available, including cutter cartridges with fewer or more teeth (for larger or smaller debris), cutter cleaning combs, and channel-mount insertion structures. Contact us for more information.

Tech Specs:
  • Max gpm: 660
  • Connection: 6" FLG
  • Motor: 3-phase, TEFC, mounted to 1:29 gearbox
