Improve water quality and clarity while containing operating costs with Deep Aire aerators. The shore-mounted compressor sends air through up to four diffusers on the bottom of the pond, producing thousands of fine bubbles that transfer oxygen to the water and create a flow of water up to the surface. With no moving parts in the water, maintenance and service costs are minimal.

The DA2510 Deluxe aerator features a 1/4 horsepower continuous duty air compressor, 100 feet of 3/8" weighted PVC tubing, membrane diffuser, air outlet with pressure relief valve, fittings and clamps along with locking cabinet, electrical box outlet, pressure gage, cooling fan and shock mounts. Once the air diffuser is assembled and the tubing is attached, you are ready to install the diffuser into the pond.

Note: The compressor should be placed in a well-ventilated area and protected from the weather. Do not place directly on the ground as this may cause dust and dirt particles to be pulled into the motor and cause premature failure.

Sizing Information: When selecting a Deep Aire diffused aeration system, you need to consider the depth, surface area and shape of the pond. The deeper the diffuser is in the water, the larger the area of coverage. For example, if the 1/4-hp, single-diffuser model is located at a depth of 8 feet, it will provide adequate aeration and oxygen dispersion for 1/4 acre. At a depth of 16 feet, the coverage area increases to 1 acre.

The shape of the pond also affects the number of diffusers you need. An irregularly shaped pond (i.e., kidney shaped, rectangular or with an island or peninsula) requires multiple diffusers to adequately disperse oxygen.
