Product Details
  • Universal inputs accept your choice of up to two Hach flow and water quality sensors
  • Rugged IP66/NEMA 4X construction allows for permanent mounting indoors and out
  • Trigger external autosamplers during flow events

FL1500 flowmeters offer both control and data logging capabilities for a complete and powerful monitoring solution. Use them in permanent installations where you need accurate and reliable flow data—great throughout your plant and collection systems. They're suitable for installation indoors and outdoors (with optional sun/rain shield, stock # 69916).

Meters feature terminal block wiring connections for direct connection of Hach flow and water quality sensors, including FLO-DAR Flow Sensors, SubAV Flow Sensors, Ultrasonic Down-Looking and In-Pipe Flow Sensors, and BL9000 Bubbler Level Sensors. Meters require a field-installable AV9000S interface module (stock # 69907) when connecting a Hach SubAV sensor.

FL1500 meters can accommodate other peripheral equipment, such as tipping rain gauges and digital pH sensors. A robust selection of analog and digital outputs are included.

Meters log and store over 829,000 data points at user-defined intervals for your selected sensor data and system events, such as alarms. You can set alarms to trigger a sampler to operate or change to a secondary logging interval if you need more frequent and precise data points during critical events. Up to 32 alarm types are available, including measurements (high/high, high, low, low/low, rate of change), system (low power, sensor timeout/error) and actions (log, trigger sampler, change logging interval).

Meters offer three different programming methods: enter information using the integral keypad; import a copied program from another meter using a USB memory stick; or program the meter with your PC using Hach's FSDATA® Desktop Software (available for free download at hach.com/flow). You can define sensor type, calibration setup information, data logging intervals, sensor naming and control output configuration. Physical installation is simple with the included flat surface mounting brackets, or purchase the optional pipe mount kit (stock # 69915).

Includes: mounting brackets, communications cable and AC power cord. For a complete system, order a flow meter, appropriate Hach sensors (purchase sensors separately)and accessories as required for your application.

Tech Specs:
  • Inputs: 2 sensors, 1 rain gauge, 1 analog input
  • Alarms: up to 32 types for measurements, system and actions
  • Communication: direct PC USB B port, memory stick USB A port and RS485 MODBUS
  • Outputs: Relays: two SPDT, 2A; Analog: two 4-20mA
  • Supply voltage: 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz; 12 VDC lead acid backup battery port (battery sold separately)
