Powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) system uses a motor/blower to provide a constant flow of purified air through the mask. This supplied airflow lets the user breathe cool air naturally.
The light blower attaches to the facepiece, while the Type HE Optifilter® cartridges remove particulates. Water-resistant HEPA filter helps protect against particulate contaminants. Respirator uses a rechargeable NiMH battery for 8 hours of continuous use. Smart charger fully powers a discharged battery in less than three hours. NIOSH approved.
