Our meter base spreader can prevent disasters. It's used for spreading apart and holding the lines in place that lead into the water meter. It is especially appreciated with old lines, where many back-breaking hours are wasted while replacing a new meter when the old lines have sprung together or out of line.

This meter base spreader works on 5/8", 3/4" and 1" water meters with various types of readers. It's fully adjustable for various meter installations, including meter horns, copper setters, and straight line installations. It's designed to fit in smaller boxes such as Christy concrete boxes, and all other meter pits and lids. Weighs 17 lbs.
