RTV silicone sealants are useful in a wide range of applications around the plant. Their excellent adhesive properties make them ideal for a variety of surfaces including clean metal, glass, most types of wood, ceramic, natural and synthetic fiber and many painted and plastic surfaces.
Solution 450 RTV withstands temperatures up to 450°F. Ideal for most formed-in-place gasket applications. Tack-free in about 18 minutes, with a full cure time of 24 hours.
Agency approvals: FDA-USDA approved. Meets and exceeds Federal specification TT-S-0230C and TT-S-001543A (Com-NBS), ASTM C 920 Type S, MIL-A46106A Type 1.
