These blow-off hydrants are specially engineered for permanent installation in any climate. Use them for flushing of disinfection byproducts (DBPs), and to improve chlorine residual levels. Their unique clear-channel full-flow valve design is superior to other blow-offs, allowing water and debris to pass through easily. Plunger lets you throttle your water flow while simultaneously covering the drain hole to avoid erosion. 2-1/2" NST outlet; 2" FIP inlet. Certified to NSF/ANSI 372.
#77 above-grade hydrants feature a traffic breakaway. All hydrants have a 3' bury depth; factory-installed extensions are available in 6" increments (sold separately).
