Description

Product Details
  • Turn potable tap water into ASTM Type II water
  • Large display shows critical parameters for continuous monitoring
  • Space-saving design allows benchtop use or wall-mount installation

Easily convert potable tap water into ASTM Type II water on demand with the Pacific TII water purification system. Use Type II water to rinse lab glassware; supply water to autoclaves and ultra-pure water systems; and prepare and dilute buffers, reagents and media.

Automatic microprocessor-controlled operation ensures continuous monitoring of all critical parameters. Readings are clearly visible via the large backlit control panel that tilts for easy viewing. Easily monitor temperature (±0.1°C), resistivity/ conductivity, reservoir fill level (%) and current operation mode (production, stand-by, cleaning or disinfection).

All systems use two primary filtration methods. The first method features a reverse osmosis (RO) membrane that removes approximately 98% of inorganic ions and 99% of all dissolved organic substances, as well as microorganisms and particles. The second method uses a high-purity water cartridge to produce high-purity water as required by international standards (ASTM Type II, CAP, ISO 39l BS 3997, and CLSI). Each system requires a double-cartridge pretreatment system (sold separately) that includes a 5-µm filter with activated carbon cartridge and a hardness stabilizer cartridge.

For additional purification and germicidal benefits, choose systems with 254-nm UV lamp option. Select storage reservoirs are also available with a recirculation pump to protect water from bacterial growth during standstill.

Tech Specs:
  • Feed water requirements: potable tap water, 4 to 11 pH, 2 to 35°C
  • Inlet pressure (min/max): 29 to 87 psi
  • Feedwater connector: 3/4" NPT(M)
  • Power requirements: 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz
  • Approvals: CSA
