Advanced digital HQd benchtop meters offer the ultimate in accurate, reportable measurements. They provide an intuitive user interface with guided calibration and measurement routines to reduce errors and simplify operation. These multiparameter meters measure pH, ORP, ISE, conductivity, salinity, TDS, temperature, and dissolved oxygen or BOD using LDO technology.
Choose from single-input or multi-input meters. The HQ430d uses any single IntelliCAL probe at a time. It has one port for measurement and one port for USB connectivity/power. The HQ440d uses two IntelliCAL probes in any combination at a time, and can display both readings simultaneously or individually. It has three connection ports: two measurement ports and a port for USB connectivity/power.
Both meters automatically or manually log up to 500 measurements with probe serial numbers, current calibration data, user ID, sample ID, time and date. For regulatory reporting, you can link each measurement to sample ID, user ID, probe serial number and more. Use the USB port to download all data to a PC or flash drive. Or attach an external PC keyboard via the USB port.
The large backlit graphic display shows all the data you need at a glance in one of 13 selectable languages. Calibration status indicators and custom calibration alerts ensure accurate results. pH buffer recognition is automatic with selectable USA, IUPAC or DIN buffer sets, or create your own custom buffer sets. Power up via the included universal power adapter or 4 AA batteries (200 hour battery life).
HQd meters use precalibrated Hach IntelliCAL smart probes that store their own testing parameter, calibration history, and settings. This means you can move the probe between meters without recalibrating the probe, minimizing errors and setup time. The unbreakable locking probe connectors are color-coded for easy identification.
Choose from standard or Ultra pH and ORP probes. Ultra probes have a higher accuracy and faster response time than standard probes. Hach's DO and BOD probes use patented luminescent DO technology. These probes have no membranes to clean or replace—just replace the sensor cap about once a year. They also feature no interference from hydrogen sulfide or heavy metals, and very infrequent calibration intervals. Include: universal power adapter and manual.
