This next-generation Hach 2100Q portable turbidimeter improves upon the previous Hach 2100P model. The 2100Q features a level of performance normally associated with laboratory instruments. It uses a two-detector optical system to compensate for color in the sample, light fluctuation and stray light—ensuring reliable, accurate performance under a wide range of on-site conditions.
The text-based on-screen instructions for calibration and verification are remarkably easy to follow. The unique Rapidly Settling Turbidity (RST) mode provides much more accurate, repeatable measurements for rapidly settling samples than manual curve smoothing or averaging multiple measurements of the same sample. It uses an exclusive algorithm that reverse calculates and continuously updates the turbidity value until an end point is determined.
The 2100Q logs up to 500 data points along with date/time stamp, operator ID, measurement mode, sample ID, sample number units, calibration time, calibration status and any error messages. This rugged IP67-rated instrument is battery powered for field use. Or order an optional universal power adapter for line power.
Includes: six sample cells, StablCal primary calibration standards in 1" sealed vials (20, 100 and 800 NTU), 10 NTU primary verification standard, CD and hard copy of manual, quick-start guide, silicone oil, oiling cloth, four AA batteries and a hard-side carrying case.
