MINIPURE® UV Water Purifier, 1 GPM, 120V, 50/60 Hz, 25-1184
Description
- Compact and economical
- Great for use with small reverse osmosis units
Ultraviolet water purifiers offer rapid water treatment without the use of heat or dangerous chemicals, often for the lowest cost available by any means.
Featuring 304 stainless steel construction, these compact units are electropolished and passivated.Great for point-of-use applications (under-sink installations, water vending machines), small RO systems, boats/RVs and more.
Ordinary maintenance includes periodic cleaning of the quartz sleeve. Lamp replacement is recommended every 10,000 hours of operation (approximately 14 months of continuous operation). This model includes one Germicidal Ultraviolet (UV-C) lamp; we recommend that you keep a spare replacement lamp for emergencies. Units are 120 VAC, 60 Hz. Alternate voltages are available; contact USABlueBook for details.
Note: Since ultraviolet disinfection is based on the transmittance of UV light and absorbance of that light by the organisms, it is recommended that the incoming water be filtered to ensure clarity. Also, we highly recommend that you contact your local permit-monitoring agency prior to purchasing a UV system. UV disinfection is not an approved disinfection method in some areas.
