Standing water is a fertile breeding ground for many varieties of mosquitoes, which lay between 100 to 300 eggs at a time. Microbe-Lift BMC kills developing mosquitoes before they can breed, including those that may transmit West Nile Virus. This biological larvicide works by paralyzing the mosquito larvae digestive tract, causing the larvae to die before they develop into adults.
Microbe-Lift BMC will not disrupt the biological processes associated with wastewater treatment. It is safe in areas that contain aquatic life, fish and plants, as well as areas used by or in contact with humans, animals, horses, livestock, pets, birds or wildlife.
