Whatman has developed their best-selling 934-AH filter into a ready-to-use (RTU) format. These binder-free, high-purity borosilicate filters come pre-washed, pre-weighed and packaged within aluminum pans. Filter weight is clearly printed on each pan's heat-resistant label.
To use, simply wet the filter under vacuum to seat the filter, filter your sample and wash the filter with three aliquots of reagent-grade water. Then return the filter to the aluminum weigh pan, dry to constant weight, and subtract the pan-indicated weight from the final filter weight for your total suspended solids weight. Retention size is 1.5 µm.
Includes: 100 pre-washed, pre-weighed filters supplied in aluminum weigh dishes.
