John Crane 1349 packing features high-tensile, abrasion-resistant fibers and offers excellent chemical resistance, dimensional stability, resilience and conformability. Use it for a wide range of abrasive and slurry services, including those with a variety of temperatures, pressures and shaft speeds.
This colorfast packing is made from blue polyimide filament fibers coated with PTFE (Teflon) dispersion and high-temperature break-in lubricant. This offers the strength and chemical resistance of aramid fibers without causing excessive damage to the shaft or sleeve.
Note: We recommend that a flush be used along with this packing.
