- Rated excellent for 97% sulfuric acid clean-up
Neoprene provides good abrasion resistance, but not as good as PVC or nitrile. It offers good cut resistance, but not as good as natural rubber. Neoprene performs well and resists degradation in continuous contact up to 200°F and in intermittent contact up to 300°F. Neoprene remains flexible to -10°F. It stiffens below that, and becomes brittle around -40°F.
SHOWA N8 gloves deliver excellent protection from a wide variety of oils and chemicals that degrade natural rubber. These gloves resist the effects of heat, sunlight, ozone and aging. The 18-inch length and 30-mil thickness also offer good protection from abrasions, punctures and cuts. Great for both lab use and chemical handling. Unlined for better dexterity. Sold by the pair.
