Adapt-A-Valve, 4" N.O. Gate
Description
- Field conversion from straight piping to check valve or positive line shut-off in seconds without digging
- Choose from normally closed, normally open and full shut-off gates for maximum flexibility in any application
Protect your facilities from sewer backups caused by hurricanes, flooding or city line flushing. During installation or removal of the internal cartridges, the chamber is accessible from ground level regardless of the depth of installation and without the need for an access pit.
Choose from these three different cartridge configurations:
Normally closed flapper check valve: the gate is in a hanging position—a good choice for storm or sanitary lines.
Normally open flapper check valve: ideal for sanitary sewers because airflow and water flow are not restricted under normal operation.
Full shut-off gate: lets you shut the line off completely when lines are pressurized during high-pressure cleaning, system testing, or line servicing, eliminating the need for inflatable plugs. Isolate sewer lines from homes awaiting hookup or shut down for extended periods of time. Great as diversion valves for septic fields. Full shutoff feature can be used as an incentive for homeowners to pay delinquent sewer bills.
Select a chamber and the cartridge(s) of your choice.
