These full-port PVC ball valves are ideal for use in water utilities. Double O-ring seals and Safe-T-Shear® stems prevent fluid from escaping if the handle is twisted off—great for chemical handling applications. A lockout mechanism in the polypropylene handle allows the valve to be padlocked in a fully open or closed position.
Features Viton® seals. Viton is best for chlorine and many other chemicals used in water treatment plants. Recommended for water service. SS-reinforced threaded ends feature external stainless steel bands over the threads to minimize the possibility of breakage due to over-tightening.
