GA Sewage Air Release Valve, 2" NPT
Description
- Tall body minimizes possibility of sewage plugging orifice or causing mechanism to stick
These sewage air release valves exhaust air and sewage gas from pressurized sewage systems (force mains). Standard 3/16" orifice vents air/gas from sewage systems flowing up to 8800 gpm and 150 psi. For lower pressure systems, an optional 5/16" orifice will vent 50% faster at pressures to 75 psi.
Cast-iron body conforms to ASTM A126 Class B. Float-operated internal metal parts are 316 stainless steel. An adjustable Buna-N orifice button enables the valve to close droptight. For easy maintenance inspection, the linkage/lever mechanism can be removed from the valve without disassembly of the mechanism.
