Repairing a solvent-welded PVC or ABS pipe fitting used to require replacing the entire fitting. The Pipe Hog reworks existing solvent welded fittings so that they will easily accept new pipe. The Pipe Hog can pay for itself in one use, especially if you don't have a replacement fitting on hand.
Operation is quick and simple! Simply cut the pipe as close as possible to the existing fitting, insert a reamer guide for either Sch 40 or Sch 80 pipe and depress the power lever on your drill. In seconds the pipe is machined out of the fitting, so you can reuse the fitting with new pipe. Reamers are designed to operate with a customer-supplied 1/2" standard or right angle drill (1000 rpm max).
Includes: reversible carbide cutters and guides for Sch 40 pipe mounted together in a lightweight assembly. Order Sch 80 guides, replacement carbide inserts (3 required per reamer) and a 12" extension separately. Pip Hog Kit (stock # 26392) is also available. Kit includes all four Pipe Hog sizes (1-1/2" through 4") for Sch 40 fittings, an extension shaft and a carrying case.
