Stainless fasteners and springs combined with dichromate plating prevent corrosion in harsh environments. Only 55 pounds of force is needed to lift 1,000 pounds. Drums turn on bronze bearings, and ratchets are spring loaded for any position mounting. Designed for years of reliable service. Uses up to 50 feet of 3/16 cable (supplied separately). Unit has a disk brake, which is recommended for vertical lifting.
