Flexmaster® Flexible Tank Connector, HDLPE, 2" Flange

The majority of tank failures occur at fitting locations, where flexible sidewalls meet rigid piping. That's why most tank manufacturers require the use of a flexible expansion joint or connection in order to be warranted against tank failure. These connectors comply with those requirements, allowing for the expansion and contraction of tank sidewalls. They install easily, and offer years of trouble-free service. Connectors are made from the same HDLPE polyethylene resin as tanks, guaranteeing chemical resistance at a much lower cost than traditional expansion joints. They feature integrally molded 150# flange connections.
Includes: eight nuts and bolts, and two flange rings for installation.
Note: Each connector requires two gaskets (sold separately).
Suitable for use with: 80% acetic acid, 40% calcium chloride, 50% ferric chloride, 60% ferric sulfate, 20% ferrous chloride, ferrous sulfate, 37% hydrochloric acid, 48% hydrofluoric acid, 26% hydrofluosilicic acid, 50% hydrogen peroxide, 30% sodium carbonate, 50% sodium hydroxide, sodium hypochlorite and 40% sodium thiosulfate.
