This top of the line winch features a digital usage indicator to keep track of drum revolutions and help determine service intervals. It also has a removable handle that allows two cranking speeds. The 4:1 drive is made for everyday applications, and offers retrieval/descent speeds of 13 ft/min. The 9:1 drive is made for emergency situations, and increases the unit's speed to 30 ft/min.
The winch has a sturdy brake that is constantly engaged and holds a suspended load whenever the crank handle is released. It also has a back-up brake system in case the primary brake should fail. The unit features a 3/16"-diameter stainless steel cable, and a swiveling snap hook with overload indicator that lets you know if the unit has been exposed to a fall.
Rated for 450-lbs maximum working load. OSHA compliant.
Note: Works with a standard tripod, modular davit arm or basic hoist as the primary fall arrest system in ladderless entry applications.
