The Lansas Domehead plug is a very durable multi-size plug. The unique design of this plug is covered under two U.S. patents. The first patent relates to the 2-ply cross-biased tire cord reinforcement (larger sizes have higher ply count), which allows for controlled expansion of the plug. The second patent covers the superior end design, where the ends are reinforced with a steel Spider™ ring wrapped in fabric. The fabric extends from the Spider into the body of the plug, transferring the stress of inflation from the steel base plate to the fabric-reinforced ring.
Plugs feature lifting eyes on both ends and an inflation port with 1/4" male quick-connect fitting. The 10 to 16" and larger plugs also have a secondary inflation port with a 1/2" square-headed plug.
