Prosonic S is ideal for lift station/pump control‚ bar screen control and level measurement in storage tanks and stormwater basins. Menu- guided operations and standardized interface make it simple to install and maintain. Unit features a large LCD‚ 4-20 mA signal output and relay control outputs.
The patented tank mapping technique digitizes and eliminates unwanted echoes from ladders and other obstructions. Look at the envelope curve on the display and see the mapping–level echo and the empty distance are marked. The unit also has built-in temperature dependent time-of-flight correction via the integrated temperature measurement in the sensors. Additional unique features include a pump switching delay to prevent power system overload‚ and crust reduction at wet well walls.
Linearization curves let you read the volume of liquid in the tank rather than just the depth of liquid. Curves are programmed for several types of vessels‚ including spherical tank‚ horizontal‚ cylindrical tank‚ tank with conical bottom and more. The linearization table consists of up to 32 linearization points that can be entered manually or semi-automatically.
Choose from two rugged E+H sensors to customize your controller. They have no sensitive on-board electronics to fail‚ and offer high material buildup immunity and corrosion resistance. The single-input Prosonic S accepts either FDU90 (stock # 37429) or FDU91 (stock # 11672) sensors.
Note: Order controller and sensor separately. Connecting cable length can be up to 1000'. Special-order options available include sensor heaters‚ long-range sensors and Profibus® DP communications.
