Description
- Checks backflow of water and sewer gas
Non-corrosive PVC body has neoprene gasket and flapper, weighted with heavy stainless steel metal backing plates and stainless steel rivet. Can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Valves include slip x slip union couplings for easy installation on ABS, PVC, steel or copper pipe. The flexible union couplings also help isolate motor noise from the piping. Check valves installed with flexible union couplings are rated for 4.3 psi backpressure (10 feet of static head) and 130°F. These valves can also be solvent welded to PVC pipe for pressure systems to 25 psi backpressure (57 feet of static head).
