The float lever has a float on one end and a magnet on the other. The float lever magnet controls a second magnet which causes the switch actuating lever inside the switch housing to make or break contact. Maintenance is easy since the electrical assembly can be removed without removing the float portion of the switch. Brass body. SPDT switch. Rated at 5 amp, 125/250 VAC. 1" NPT piping connection. 3/4" NPT conduit connection. Exterior float chamber model mounts within section of 1" NPT vertical pipe (like a sight glass assembly.)
