- Quickly detect common pathogens in drinking, surface and recreational water
Hach PathoScreen MPN Pillows let you detect Salmonella, Klebsiella, Proteus, Citrobacter, Clostridium, Edwardsiella, and other hydrogen-producing organisms within 24 to 48 hours of incubation at 25 to 35°C. These bacteria are proven to be associated with fecal contamination and the presence of coliforms. A positive result is indicated by a color change from yellow to black.
Pathoscreen field test kits includes media, bleach solution and five reusable glass tubes in a hard-shell carrying case.
Note: If you need powder pillows for 100-mL samples, order stock # 77474 separately.
