Description
When performing a 5-day BOD test, nitrification inhibition may be required for biologically treated effluents or samples seeded with biologically treated effluents. Hach's specially formulated nitrification inhibitor is made of 2-chloro-6 (trichloromethyl) pyridine (TCMP) that is bound to an inert substrate to help it dissolve quickly. Select from 500g or 35g bottles. Bottles containing 35g (enough for over two hundred 300-mL samples) can utilize an optional dispensing cap to ensure proper dosing.
