This combination strobe/horn is perfect where you need light and sound but don't have the space for two separate units. The 100% polycarbonate NEMA 3R (rain-tight) housing mounts to a 1/2" NPT pipe, a 4" octagonal electrical box or any flat surface. The surface mount gasket offers a template for preparing your surface with mounting holes.
The compact AV1 measures 6.48"H x 5.76" Dia. A unique twist-and-dock dome allows tool-free access to the incandescent lamp. The fresnel lensing provides superior visibility in all directions and features an integrated buzzer with 85dB output at 10 feet. The sound is synchronized to buzz at the same rate as the visual signal—75 times per minute. Each unit is factory assembled with two color-coded leads. If desired, you can easily remove the leads and connect directly to the terminal block in the base of the unit.
