Especially well-suited for small systems with low flow rates. These experience the most problems with "dirty" chlorine due the build-up of impurities on the metering tube walls and rate valve surfaces. Tests in several installations which had been experiencing feed rate drop off due to impurities proved that use of the FIL-1 filter virtually eliminated the buildup problem. Installs in the 3/8" ID vacuum line between the regulator and meter panel of any brand chlorinator.
