Measure and record conductivity and temperature in underwater environments with HOBO Conductivity Data Loggers. Loggers feature a non-contacting sensor for long life and minimal measurement drift. The sensor sheds air bubbles for greater accuracy, and is easy to access for cleaning. Loggers are equipped with an optic USB interface that allows for data offload in the field, even when the logger is wet. With a long-life lithium battery and operating range as low as 28°F, these loggers withstand extended deployment in rough conditions.

The HOBO Conductivity/Salinity Data Logger is for use in environments with higher range conductivity. Also use it in saltwater environments with relatively small changes in salinity (±5,000 µS/cm), such as saltwater bays. It detects salinity events such as upwelling, rainstorm and discharge. Logger also gathers data for determining salinity compensation for the HOBO Dissolved Oxygen Logger. Note: This logger is not intended for monitoring salinity levels in waters with wide variations in salinity as it can have significant measurement error and drift in those environments.

Note: Loggers require either a base station (stock # 10048) or shuttle (choose from stock # 19611 or 10049) for data transfer. They also require HOBOware Pro Software (stock # 10045) for data analysis and logger setup.
