Use the economical CHEMetrics Single Analyte Meter (SAM) with peracetic acid Vacu-vials® self-filling ampules for fast testing. Simply add activator solution to the water sample, snap the Vacu-vial in the sample, and invert the ampule several times. One minute after the ampule is snapped, insert it into the photometer, place the light shield over it, and push the button. The test result shows in just a few seconds.

The SAM photometer stores and recalls 15 data points along with a sample number, date, time, method and result. The unit automatically turns off after 15 minutes of nonuse.

Kit includes: SAM photometer, peracetic acid test kit (30 Vacu-vials, activator solution, 25 mL sample cup and ampule blank), light shield, screwdriver, plastic case and four AAA batteries. 1-year warranty.

Note: Oxidizing agents such as halogens, ozone and cupric ions will produce high test results. Hydrogen peroxide does not interfere if present at levels comparable to peracetic acid levels.
